Mozart -- Anne Akiko Meyers is the soloist in Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 with the Florida Orchestra, Nicholas McGegan conducting, Jan. 18-21. $20-$38.
Ellington -- Donald Byrd's dance company, the Group, performs In a Different Light, choreographed to music of Duke Ellington, Jan. 20 at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. $24.50-$34.50.
Ireland -- Pianist Rogert Helps, violinists Amy Schwartz and Carolyn Stuart and cellist Scott Kluksdahl play music of John Ireland, Jan. 22 at the University of South Florida in Tampa. $4 and $6.
Byron -- Ian Frost performs a one-man show, Byron, a Celebration: the Postscript, Jan. 21 at Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center. $9 and $11.
Verdi -- To mark the 100th anniversary of Verdi's death, Sarasota Opera performs his Requiem Jan. 26 and Jan 28. $35-$55.
