The Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless is seeking volunteers who can work overnight at shelters that are set up to house the homeless on cold nights.

In addition, the coalition is asking for donations to help pay for meals, hygiene items and laundry for the shelters. The shelters have stayed open seven nights this winter, compared to nine last winter.

Donations can be sent to: Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless, P.O. Box 11195, St. Petersburg, FL 33733.

For information, call Pam Wiener at 821-0726, ext. 133, or Cliff Smith at 582-7598.
