TAMPA -- Gaither running back Lydell Ross canceled a visit for the second consecutive week.

A week after not visiting Ohio State because of John Cooper's firing, Hillsborough County's all-time rushing leader canceled a trip to Tennessee.

He will visit Florida instead.

"I'm just more interested in Florida right now," Ross said.

Ross canceled his trip when Tennessee called him at his home Wednesday. That same day, he told Florida he wanted to bump up his Jan. 26 visit.

Ross is scheduled to visit Notre Dame on Jan. 19. He also visited Auburn. He has not ruled out rescheduling visits to Tennessee and Ohio State.
