THE WEST PASCO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Congregational Church, 6533 Circle Blvd. in downtown New Port Richey. THE HERNANDO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (unless noted otherwise) at 7 p.m. at the Brooksville Community Hall, 205 East Ft. Dade Ave. Membership is open to all. The organization has a number of field trips scheduled: Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. -- IMC Mines. Jan. 24, 10:30 a.m. -- Chasahowitzka River Pontoon Boat Cruise. THE HERNANDO SPORTSMAN'S CLUB, a family oriented shooting club, meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the range west of U.S. 19, 9.5 miles north of State Road 50.
