Citrus: Visit downtown shops before tourism meeting

INVERNESS -- The Inverness Olde Town Association will host a tourism industry meeting on Wednesday. Guests are invited to visit downtown Inverness merchants at their shops between 5 and 6 p.m. and then convene at the Crown Hotel at 6 to discuss marketing opportunities and the workings of the Olde Town Association. Citrus legislators will meet with their constituents

INVERNESS -- The Citrus County legislative delegation will meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Masonic Building in downtown Inverness. State Sens. Anna Cowin and Richard Mitchell will join state Rep. Nancy Argenziano to hear constituents' concerns.

CFCC sponsors presentation by nutrition, fitness expert

OCALA -- Central Florida Community College is sponsoring a motivational presentation by nutrition and fitness expert Tom Ryan from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in Campus Building 8, Room 110 on the Ocala Campus.
