QUIET DAY FOR WOMEN: The women of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2301 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill, will hold a "Quiet Day for Women" from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 20. The Eucharist will be celebrated followed by a program and meditations led by the Rev. Louise Muenz. Please bring a bag lunch; dessert and beverage will be provided. ANNUAL CAMP MEETING: The Wesleyan Church, 8168 Jasmine Drive, Brooksville, will continue hosting the Bible Conference Association's annual camp meeting with daily services at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 and 7 p.m. through Jan. 21. Speakers will include Bishop Donald Bastian, Norman Wilson and Stephen Lennox. Bastian has served at pastor of the Free Methodist Church for 22 years and 19 years as bishop. He is the author of many books and has spoken in pastor and missionary retreats throughout the world. Wilson is The Wesleyan Hour speaker, director of communications for the Wesleyan Church and editor of the Wesleyan Advocate since 1992. Lennox is chairman of the division of Religion and Philosophy at Indiana Wesleyan University. He has degrees from Houghton College, Evangelical School of Theology and Drew University. Musician/singers Don and Shirl Gessner will return to Brooksville with their music evangelism, which they have performed throughout the United States and Canada since 1977. ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: Spirit of Life Metropolitan Community Church, 4133 Thys Road, New Port Richey, will celebrate its 16th anniversary Sunday. Congregation and Community appreciation awards will be presented at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services. A covered-dish luncheon will be held after the latter service in the Pavilion of Peace, weather permitting, and the multimedia team will provide video enhancements. The celebration will continue with a contemporary Christian concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday by the Exciters, a New Port Richey band. A missionary rally and community forum will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at Bouma Hall, 1202 Kenlake Ave., Spring Hill, as the church launches a satellite mission in Hernando County. YARD SALE: Mariner United Methodist Church, 7079 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, will offer the second of its two-day yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Sale items will include clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry, household goods and baked goods. Hot dogs and sodas will be available. For information, call 596-0080.

PASTA BELLA MYSTERY DINNER THEATER: Temple Beth David Jewish Center, 13833 E Linden Drive, Spring Hill, will offer its second dinner theater. Pasta Bella mystery dinner theater will be presented at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21. Dinner will include pasta, coffee and cake and anyone who guesses the killer's identity will win a prize. YOUTH ALIYAH: The Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey, will host the annual Youth Aliyah event at 2 p.m. Sunday. For almost 70 years, Youth Aliyah has been rescuing children from atrocities of war, disease and famine. The children are brought to Israel where they receive enrichment classes, vocational training, accelerated studies for gifted pupils and psychological help to treat severe emotional and educational problems. WHEN FORGIVENESS DOESN'T WORK, AND RECALLING OUR HERITAGE AS CHURCH: The Franciscan Center, 3010 Perry Ave., Tampa, will offer two programs. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today "When forgiveness doesn't work: A fresh look at forgiveness and reconciliation" will be led by Sisters Catherine Cahill, executive director of the Center and Maureen Connors, Ph.D. "Recalling our heritage as church" will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The main theme will be to better understanding forgiveness and its importance in everyone's lives. There will be group interaction, reflection time and tools and rituals to aid forgiveness. Monday is the deadline for registration and the cost is $25. The program will be moderated by Sister Kay Aherne as participants journey back through history beginning with Old Testament times to discover the richness of the Catholic faith. Aherne, a staff member of the Franciscan Center, specializes in education and business health-care ministry. The deadline for registration is Jan. 15 and donations are accepted. SNOW HOP: St. Anthony Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, will sponsor a snow hop from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Jan. 20 in Heffernan Hall. Music will be provided by disc jockey Terry Loyce. There will be dance and trivia contests with prizes. Food and snacks will be provided. Only soft drinks allowed. Tickets are $5 for this family affair for all ages. BUILDING A COMMUNITY FOR FAITH: First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill, 9344 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, will hold its annual evangelism event, "Building a community of faith." At 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 21-24 the Rev. Chris Buskirk, founding pastor of Abiding Harvest United Methodist Church, Tulsa, Okla., will be the guest speaker. On Jan. 21, there will be a covered-dish supper at 5:30 p.m. in fellowship hall, followed by the service in the sanctuary. On Jan. 24, there will be a dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by the 6:30 worship service in the sanctuary. For information, call 683-2600.

APPLE FAMILY: Spring Hill First Church of the Nazarene, 9600 Century Blvd., Spring Hill, will offer a concert featuring the Apple Family at 7 p.m. Jan. 17.
