Edward Forrest Williams of 5328 Celcus Drive, Holiday, was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving a fatality, said the FHP. Williams struck John M. Holmes, 46, of Holiday as Holmes was trying to cross U.S. 19 on Jan. 5, troopers said. Williams then fled the scene in his Mitsubishi, authorities said. Williams turned himself in after he was "advised" about an article in the Pasco Times that said troopers were searching for the driver of the Mitsubishi. Williams was booked into the county jail in Land O'Lakes on Thursday and was released Friday after posting $10,000 bail. Suspect out on bail charged with DUIPORT RICHEY -- A man who is out on bail on an Ecstasy trafficking charge was arrested Thursday night and charged with drunken driving. Shortly after 11 p.m., Pasco County sheriff's deputies said they clocked Robert Ehrhardt driving 70 mph in a 45 mph zone on U.S. 19. Deputies in two cruisers switched on lights and sirens, and Ehrhardt slowed down to 5 mph after turning onto Regency Park Boulevard, according to a report. Ehrhardt turned onto Jasmine Boulevard, and deputies followed. Ehrhardt was charged with driving under the influence. On Dec. 13, Ehrhardt was arrested after Pasco County vice detectives found 11,227 Ecstasy pills, a third of a pound of marijuana and $4,700 in cash in his storage unit. Ehrhardt was released Friday from the county jail in Land O'Lakes on $500 bail.
