INVERNESS -- The Inverness Olde Town Association will host a tourism industry meeting on Wednesday. Guests are invited to visit downtown Inverness merchants at their shops between 5 and 6 p.m. and then convene at the Crown Hotel at 6 to discuss marketing opportunities and the workings of the Olde Town Association. INVERNESS -- The Citrus County legislative delegation will meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Masonic Building in downtown Inverness. State Sens. Anna Cowin and Richard Mitchell will join state Rep. Nancy Argenziano to hear constituents' concerns.
OCALA -- Central Florida Community College is sponsoring a motivational presentation by nutrition and fitness expert Tom Ryan from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in Campus Building 8, Room 110 on the Ocala Campus.
