Senior College will host a Sampler Day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday at the Continuing Education Center. Meet instructors and trip leaders, take a tour of the campus and sample some classes, programs and activities. Call 865-7155 for information or for a winter catalog.

The Academy of Senior Professionals at Eckerd College presents Dan Hirschfield, who will speak on The Cradle of Civilization: Mesopotamia, Persia, and Sumer, at 3 p.m. Friday in Lewis House. This is part of the ASPEC Introduction to Archaeology series. Call 864-8297 for information.
