Lakewood running back Darren Felder has orally committed to Pittsburgh.

Felder (5 feet 9, 205 pounds), a second-team All-Pinellas selection by the Times this season, rushed for 1,086 yards and six touchdowns on 137 carries.

Lakewood coach Brian Bruch said Felder recently raised his grade-point average and his standardized test score and is fully qualified. Felder chose Pittsburgh over Clemson, Louisville and Connecticut.
