SPORTS BAR OPENING SECOND LOCATION: Bilmar Station, a restaurant and sports bar, is opening its second location in February in Town 'N Country at Sheldon Road and Memorial Highway in Buccaneer Plaza. The bar will occupy the space once occupied by the Nickel City Bar, which closed in December. The menu and theme will be the same as the Carrollwood restaurant at 13150 N Dale Mabry Highway, although with fewer varieties of beer. For information, call (813) 961-2337.

PLANET SMOOTHIE CLOSES: Planet Smoothie in the Shoppes of Carrollwood at N Dale Mabry has closed after being open less than two years. The owner, Reed Haydon, also owned the south Tampa Planet Smoothie on Gandy Boulevard that closed some time ago.

ICE CREAM SHOP CLOSES: Baskin Robbins has closed its ice cream shop in the Village Center at Fletcher Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway.

NEW NAME FOR WEIGHT LOSS CENTER: The National Weight Loss Center at 3821 Northdale Blvd. in Northdale Plaza is now L.A. Weight Loss. For information, call (813) 969-0940.
