KENNETH CITY -- Two incumbents want to keep serving on the Town Council. Al Carrier and Russ Dumont have filed to run in the March 13 election.
Carrier, trying for his second term, was first elected to the Council in 1999. Dumont is seeking his first elected term. He was appointed last July to complete the term of Chuck Webber, who left the council to work for the city of Pinellas Park.
People who want to run for office must have their paperwork completed and turned in to Town Clerk Nancy Beelman by noon Friday at Town Hall, 6000 54th Ave. N. For information, call Beelman at 544-6655.
