Pop star Britney Spears will be shaking her groove thing during the Super Bowl's halftime show. On Monday, MTV confirmed a report from nationally syndicated columnist Liz Smith that Spears will be there.
MTV has been keeping a few surprises up its sleeve and reported that three "special guests" will appear during the halftime show finale. The other two artists have not yet been revealed.
According to the WFLZ-FM 93.3's MJ & BJ Morning Show, Spears may also make a Gasparilla concert appearance on WFLZ's stage on Saturday.
"We've been told that she and Justin Timberlake ('N Sync member and Spears' boyfriend) would possibly show up," said radio show co-host MJ Kelli. "We know Britney Spears is coming to town and the record company (Jive) told us that there was a big possibility she would appear on our stage at Curtis Hixon park."
