  • When the Rams did not score a touchdown in the first half, it was the first time since Game 12 of the 1998 season they went without a touchdown in the first half at the Trans World Dome. St. Louis had failed to score a touchdown in the first half only once this season.
  • The Bucs' three interceptions were the most they had in a game since producing five against Seattle on Nov. 28.
  • The Bucs defense allowed only two touchdowns in their last 16 quarters. One against Green Bay on Dec. 26 and one against the Rams on Sunday.
  • Linebacker Derrick Brooks led the Bucs in tackles with 10. It was his fourth consecutive game with double-digit tackles.
  • The Rams had 54 runs of 10 yards or more during the regular season. On Sunday, they had none.
  • Redskins receiver Michael Westbrook had only one catch for 4 yards after saying the Bucs secondary was average. Isaac Bruce of the Rams had similar disparaging remarks and finished with three catches for 22 yards. His longest was 9 yards.
