The Tampa Bay Business Committee for the Arts Inc. will release the recent study of the economic impact of the arts in Tampa at 8 a.m. on Jan. 31 in the Board Room at Tampa International Airport. This is the first measure of arts impact in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties since 1996. The findings will be presented to government and business leaders. The program will feature representatives of PricewaterhouseCoopers with a summary of the results, and government officials who will share some remarks. The Executive Directors of the Arts Councils of Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, as well as leaders of the region's cultural groups, will be in attendance. Call (813) 221-2787.

Stephen W. Sessums has been named "Fellow of the Year" by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at their recent annual meeting in Chicago. Sessums, a partner with Sessums Mason & Black P.A., was honored for his work as co-chair in the authoring of three publications of the Academy. As "Fellow of the Year," Sessums also chaired the committee that drafted the 1994 document, "Divorce Manual, A Client Handbook," created to give guidance and insight into the divorce process.

Marimark announces the promotion of Karen Fridlund to director of e-commerce production. In her new position, Fridlund manages the company's team of e-commerce specialists and the many Web-based projects for its clients. These projects include online ordering of a company's corporate, marketing and collateral sales literature and co-op program materials by its sales team and dealer/distributor chain; sales call reporting systems; project review and production status sites; and digital asset management.
