Lincoln Day dinner scheduled
CITRUS HILLS -- The annual Lincoln Day dinner will be Feb. 15 at Andre's of Citrus Hills. Cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 7. Education Commissioner Charlie Crist is scheduled to be the guest speaker. Florida House Speaker Tom Feeney and state Rep. Nancy Argenziano will attend if their schedules allow. Tractor pull revs up at fairgrounds
INVERNESS -- A three-day tractor pull will be held from Friday through Sunday at the Citrus County Fairgrounds, U.S. 41 S, Inverness. Pulls start at 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $7 for one day or $15 for all three. Entertainment and a dinner are planned for 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Horticulture Building. Cost of dinner is $7 per person. Call 726-2993.
