    Completion of training

    Seaman Michael Wesley Schmidt, who attended East Lake High School, recently completed basic training in Great Lakes, Ill., and will continue his training at the Naval Submarine School in Groton, Conn. He is the son of Mary Anne Schmidt of Palm Harbor and Alfred D. Schmidt Jr. of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

    Pfc. Christopher R. Kilpatrick, a 2000 graduate of Clearwater High School, completed basic training at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in South Carolina. He completed Marine combat training at Camp Geiger in Jacksonville, N.C., and is currently stationed in Dam Neck, Va., for intelligence training. He is the son of Emmett and Jan Kilpatrick of Clearwater.

    Pvt. Lindsay Marie-Jeanne Sullivan of Tarpon Springs completed training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. She is stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, where she will continue training as a medical assistant. She is the daughter of Gail H. and Keith A. Arnold of Tarpon Springs.

    Shawn M. Christian, a 2000 graduate of Osceola High School, completed basic training at Fort Sill, Okla. He will continue training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He is the son of Nancy and Herbert Christian of Largo.
