WHEN/WHERE: 7, Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center.

TV/RADIO: ESPN2; WZHR-AM 1400; WAMR-AM 1320.

RECORDS: North Carolina State -- 9-7, 1-4. Florida State 5-13, 0-5.

COACHES: North Carolina State -- Herb Sendek (82-64, fifth season; 145-90 overall). Florida State -- Steve Robinson (48-61, fourth season; 94-79 overall).

KEY PLAYERS: North Carolina State -- Anthony Grundy, G, 6-3 Jr. (17.1 ppg, 4.5 rpg); Damien Wilkins, F, 6-6 So. (12.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg); Kenny Inge, F, 6-8 Sr. (12.6 ppg, 8.1 rpg). Florida State -- Delvon Arrington, PG, 5-11 Sr. (11.1 ppg, 4.7 apg); Michael Joiner, F, 6-7 Fr. (9.9 ppg, 6.4 rpg); Adrian Crawford, G, 6-5 Sr. (10.7 ppg).

NOTES: The Seminoles are desperate for their first ACC win and the moon and the stars might be properly aligned. In their last game, they rallied from a 19-point halftime deficit to climb to within three against then No. 6 North Carolina only to lose by 10. But it was FSU's finest 20 minutes, offensive and defensively. And then there's the Wolfpack, which has lost four of its last five. That skid coincides in large part to the loss of junior tri-captain Archie Miller (stress fracture early against Duke four games ago). He still leads the nation in three-point shooting (62 percent). ... FSU leads the series 14-13 but the Wolfpack has won three straight. -- Compiled by BRIAN LANDMAN
