Super Bowl fans should get the kind of weather for which the Chamber of Commerce was hoping.

While the temperature may dip to a low of about 35 Thursday night, the rest of the week is expected to be fairly sunny, with highs in the mid-60s Friday and in the 70s Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

"So far it looks good for the Super Bowl," meteorologist Russell Henes said.

Today's rumor

Yesterday, all our troubles seemed so far away.

Had Tuesday's rumor about Eddie DeBartolo buying the Bucs been true (and both sides adamantly deny that it is), DeBartolo would have tried to hire Bill Parcells as his coach. Tomorrow: flying frogs.
