Florida's Beach Super Celebration/ Sand Sculpture Spectacula
Features 8-foot-high sculptures of all the NFL teams centered by two 30-foot-high helmets of the two Super Bowl contestants. Includes a daily laser show at sunset. Today-Sun. 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Sand Key Park, Clearwater. Parking $1. (727) 464-7200.

Tampa's signature celebration, featuring pirate krewes made up of members of Tampa social clubs. Flotilla sails through Hillsborough Bay beginning 11:30 a.m. Invasion, where mayor "surrenders" the city, 1 p.m., Tampa Convention Center. Parade begins 1:45 at Howard Avenue and Bayshore Boulevard. Downtown St. Petersburg's many galleries, museums and shops show off with special admissions and discounts. Participants include the Museum of Fine Arts, which is offering a special exhibit of sports photographs by Harold Edgerton; the Salvador Dali Museum; the Florida Holocaust Museum; the Florida International Museum, with its current exhibit on John F. Kennedy and the Cold War era; the Great Explorations hands-on museum for children; plus music in outdoor and indoor locations all day.
