As part of this week's Super Bowl CXXXV celebration, we uncovered a time capsule (buried on St. Pete Beach in 2001 and moved to Plant City Beach after the Great Icecap Incident of 2057). What we found indicates a simpler, yet confusing time when elections were in doubt, people were confined to one planet and, apparently, fake talking fish were a hoot:
1. Prescription for Viagra.
2. A piece of a Firestone tire.
3. Four chads -- dimpled, pregnant, hanging and swinging.
4. Press photo of Survivor finalists.
5. Y2K Ration Kit.
6. U.S. $.34 stamp commemorating Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.
7. Big Mouth Billy Bass wall plaque.
8. Scale model of Chrysler PT Cruiser.
9. Bowl Championship Series rankings.
10. Double helix DNA molecule.

13. Stock Certificate for 100 shares of Priceline.com.
14. Tickets to Game 6 of 2000 World Series.
15. The four headlines from Nov. 8 election newspapers, and the correct one announcing George W. Bush as president on Dec. 13.
16. Audiotape of a Dennis Miller Monday Night Football rant.
17. Hillsborough River at record low.
18. "On Three Yell Bubba" sign from section 142 of Tropicana Field.
19. Historic photo of Elian Gonzalez being taken from Miami home.
20. Photo of Olympic fireworks in Sydney Harbor.
