The Brooksville Police Department is looking for a 70-year-old man who walked away from the Tangerine Cove assisted living facility on Howell Road in Brooksville Friday morning.

The man, Bobby Gene Gordon, suffers from mild dementia and anxiety and may be disoriented, said Police Sgt. Ron Woods. Gordon is allowed to take short walks and left the facility about 11 a.m. When he had not returned by Friday evening, staffers called the Police Department to report him missing.

He is described as a black man, about 5 feet 10, with glasses and short hair. Woods requested anyone who sees Gordon to call him at 754-6818.
