The cost of the Suncoast Parkway generally is reported as $507-million, but when interest costs are added in, the total reaches $861-million. Here is a breakdown of all the costs, including the amount that must be paid over the next 30 years in interest on the bonds that financed the project. The bonds will be paid off mostly with revenue generated by tolls on the parkway.
