    Fourth quarter: Best & worst

BEST COMMENT: On the improved play of the Baltimore offense, CBS announcer Phil Simms remarked, "When you practice against (the Baltimore defense) it makes you pretty tough, too."

WORST COMMENT: After New York's Ron Dixon fumbled a kickoff, CBS' Greg Gumbel had this astute observation: "You can't turn the football over and win."

BEST STAT: When Baltimore's Jamal Lewis scored on a 3-yard run with 8:51 left in the game he became the first rookie running back to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl since Washington's Timmy Smith in 1988.

WORST PLUG: In an effort to keep viewers tuned in, Simms told them to "Keep watching. You don't want to miss Survivor (II)." Later, when Gumbel said to Simms he couldn't imagine living in the Australian Outback (site of Survivor II), Sims added, "You'll watch it, it's just like being there."

WORST FROWN: As the final seconds ticked away, New York coach Jim Fassel looked like a kid whose parents forgot about Christmas.
