Casper recently became a partner in the law firm of James, Hoyer, Newcomer & Smiljanich, P.A. Meredith Connor is the new network engineer in the technology division. William E. Curphey and Mary Li Creasy of the law firm Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP have been selected by Stetson University College of Law to teach Employment Law for the spring semester. Curphey and Creasy practice labor and employment law for the firm. The law firm of Barr, Murman, Tonelli, Slother & Sleet announces two new hires: Jeffrey S. Hunter has joined the firm as an associate and will continue his practice in the areas of medical malpractice and commercial litigation. Pamela A. Walton has been named a partner and will continue her practice in the area of workers' compensation defense and providing services as a mediator. Stephen W. Sessums has been named "Fellow of the Year" by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at their recent annual meeting in Chicago. Sessums, a partner with Sessums Mason & Black P.A., was honored for his work as co-chair in the authoring of three publications of the Academy. As "Fellow of the Year," Sessums also chaired the committee that drafted the 1994 document, "Divorce Manual, A Client Handbook," created to give guidance and insight into the divorce process. The law firm of Carlton Fields announces that Andrew C. Greenberg has rejoined the firm. Greenberg is a patent lawyer with experience in the computer industry. He has practiced in all areas of intellectual property, technology and computer law. He received his law degree from the Stetson University College of Law.
