DANNY BAUER, Largo

The senior is a two-time PCAC champion in the 2-mile and finished eighth in the event at the Class 3A state meet last season. He also was a first-team selection to the Times All-County cross country team this season.

KEVIN MARION, Dixie Hollins

A sophomore, Marion is coming back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered during spring football practice. Last season, he had the best mark in the county in the long jump (21-31/4). At the 2A state meet, he finished eighth in the long jump and 200.

CEDRIC KING, Gibbs

The younger brother of Bucs quarterback Shaun King, Cedric was tops in the county in the 100 and the lone Gladiator to make it to state last season. This season, Cedric, a senior who has committed to play football for South Florida, will run the 100 and is a key member of the 4x100 relay.

MIKE CRAIG, St. Petersburg Catholic

A senior, Craig finished eighth in the 2-mile last season. He also excelled in cross country and was a district champ and first-team selection to the Times All-County team this season.

MARQUEL MOTT, Lakewood

A transfer from Northeast, Mott did not run track last season. He did, however, run in the off-season for the Lightning Bolt Youth Track Club and was part of a 4x100 relay that finished fifth at an AAU national meet.
