NOTES: FSU completes half of the ACC schedule with its best chance for its first league win. ... The Tigers feature the ACC's top scorer in Solomon and have narrow losses to Seton Hall, Cincinnati, Maryland, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech. Solomon scored 41 points in the last close call, a 111-108 overtime loss to the Yellow Jackets on Wednesday. ... The Tigers have lost their past four and likely will be without 7-foot-1 1 C Adam Allenspach (10.1 ppg, 7.1 rpg), their lone senior. He had surgery on a herniated disc during the summer and missed the past three games and all but seven minutes in the past five with inflammation in the sacroiliac joint, where the hip meets the spine. ... The Seminoles may be without C Nigel Dixon, who is out for unspecified reasons. That doesn't help given FSU's dearth of size. ... The good news for FSU is the continued stellar play of Arrington and Cummings, the top reserve. ... FSU leads the series 17-14, including 9-3 at home.
