CLASS A, DISTRICT 11
TEAMS: Admiral Farragut Academy, Berkeley Prep, Calvary Christian, Indian Rocks Christian, Keswick Christian, Northside Christian, Pinellas HEAT, Seminole Presbyterian, Shorecrest, Riverhills Christian, Tampa Baptist, Tampa Prep.
THE SKINNY: Expect the battle to be between Berkeley Prep, Tampa Baptist and Shorecrest. The Chargers should stay in the mix with strong performances in distance events.
TEAMS: Clearwater Central Catholic, Dixie Hollins, Dunedin, Osceola, St. Petersburg Catholic, Tarpon Springs.
THE SKINNY: First place probably will be kept private. As in private schools. CCC and St. Petersburg Catholic are at the head of this class with strong performances in distance events. The Barons also have standout quarterback Chris Davis coming out.
THE SKINNY: With Ridgewood always a contender, Countryside and East Lake most likely will have to battle for second.
THE SKINNY: The key word here is fast. Boca Ciega (Mike Williams), Clearwater (Ken Wiggins), Gibbs (Cedric King), Lakewood (Marquel Mott) and Largo (Arsenio Corbin) have great sprinters. Largo has depth in distance events, and Seminole is balanced throughout its lineup
