Team Pop Trivia

This week's winner: Deborah King of St. Petersburg knew that the boys in Lynyrd Skynyrd went to high school in Jacksonville. King scored a hot rockin' Southern-fried Weekend T-shirt.
This week's question: Saturday is the anniversary of the Day the Music Died, that is, the fateful 1959 plane crash that took the lives of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper after an Iowa concert. Strangely, another future star, temporarily playing bass in Holly's band, the Crickets, was supposed to be on that small chartered plane, but he gave up his seat for 17-year-old Valens, who was terrified of flying.
To enter your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, tell me the name of the star.
