PHILADELPHIA -- After chasing Allen Iverson for 53 minutes, Darrell Armstrong had enough energy left to do his best Iverson impersonation.
Armstrong scored 13 of his career-high 34 in the second overtime Friday night as the Magic overcame 47 points by Iverson to beat the 76ers 123-117
"Darrell was awesome," Magic coach Doc Rivers said. "What was most important was his play on Iverson. Darrell is a gambler. I begged him not to do it tonight because if you gamble against Iverson, you're going to lose."
Armstrong gave Orlando a 115-110 lead on a jumper with 1:50 left in the second overtime as the Sixers missed their first four shots. The Sixers had an opportunity to win it in the first overtime, but Iverson missed a jumper at the buzzer.
Iverson gave the Sixers a 102-100 lead with 9.6 seconds left in regulation on a basket and free throw but Michael Doleac sent it into overtime on a long jumper with 1.8 seconds left.
HEAT 91, HAWKS 80: Tim Hardaway scored 18 for visiting Miami despite missing part of the game after injuring his right knee in the third quarter. He returned in the fourth wearing an elastic brace.
