NOTES: Tulane leads the series 12-8, but South Florida has won five of the past seven, including an 85-70 victory Jan. 13. Tulane is on an eight-game losing streak, including a 48-point loss to Cincinnati on Monday. Top scorer Spann suffered a mild concussion with 7:57 remaining in the first half and missed the rest of the game. USF is at the opposite end of the spectrum. The Bulls have won 6 of 8, including a win Wednesday over Louisville without suspended forward B. B. Waldon. South Florida leads the National Division, Tulane is last. The Bulls are second in scoring offense, first in field goal percentage and assists and are last in free-throw shooting. Tulane is 12th in scoring margin, but is third in field goal percentage. However, it is 11th in field goal percentage defense. South Florida is averaging 75.9 points and allowing opponents 67.2. Tulane averages 73.4 points, but is allowing 81.1.
