Monday

Brooksville City Council, 7 p.m., City Council chambers, Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. Agenda: Presentation of proposed mural project in downtown Brooksville area; the purchase of two additional cars for the police department.

Tuesday

Hernando County Commission, 9 a.m., County Commission chambers, Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Brooksville. Agenda: drywall contractor licensing; discussion on Elder Affairs Initiative, changes to contract with the Hernando County Economic Development Commission.

Hernando County School Board, workshop, 3 p.m., School Board meeting room, 919 N Broad St., Brooksville. Topic: Freaky Friday challenge, teacher resignations. 7 p.m., meeting. Agenda: Freaky Friday challenge, expulsions, discuss school resource officers' contracts.

Wednesday

Hernando County Commission, 9 a.m. County Commission chambers, Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Brooksville. Agenda: zoning petitions. Workshop, 1 p.m. Topic: proposed 2001-02 budget.
