Local collectors make magazine's top 100
Dr. Robert and Chitranee Drapkin of Clearwater Beach are listed in a story about the top 100 collectors in America in the March issue of Art & Antiques. Known in the bay area as collectors of photography -- they have exhibited at the Museum of Fine Art and the Dunedin Fine Art Center -- they have more recently been acquiring pre-Columbian objects from the American Southwest. The Drapkins are the only bay area collectors in the top 100.

American Stage is starting a weekly workshop for professional actors in the area. Held Monday nights, the series begins on March 12 with a month of scene study. Guest artists will lead the workshops. The cost is $40 a month. Contact Becca McCoy at (727) 823-1600, ext. 207.
