GAINESVILLE -- Florida wide receiver Kelvin Kight had arthroscopic surgery on Monday to correct chronic cartilage damage in his right knee.
Kight played in 11 games as a freshman, starting against Kentucky. For the season, he had six receptions for 87 yards. He is questionable for the start of spring drills on March 13.
The team anticipates he should return at some point in spring drills, which conclude April 7.
OHIO STATE: Coach Jim Tressel got an oral commitment from Angelo Chattams, a wide receiver from Dayton Chaminade-Julienne, the Akron Beacon Journal reported.
