Bloomingdale (16-2-4) at Sarasota Riverview (18-5), 7:30 p.m.
The Bulls hit the road after a heartbreaking district final loss to Palm Harbor U. Still ranked 13th nationally by Fox Student Sports, Bloomingdale is trying to top its final four appearance of a year ago. Bloomingdale forward Lyndrea Sutherland leads one of the offense.
Plant (12-6) at Land O'Lakes (24-5-1), 7:30 p.m.
The Panthers have had the tough task of trying to compensate for the absence of injured leading-scorer Janessa Taddei. Jamie Shelton has played well for Plant while the Gators enter the regionals with eight consecutive victories.
Riverview (8-7-2) at Seminole (19-4), 7 p.m.
The young Sharks slipped into the regionals by virtue of a second-place finish in District 12. The reward is a trip to Seminole to play a veteran Warhawks squad.
East Lake (15-4-1) at King (17-3-2), 7:30 p.m.
King's Mikaela Jayashekaramurthy is coming off a hat trick as the Lion offense has been hitting on all cylinders in the playoffs. Becky Ware and Jessica Bell have been solid from their forward spots and goalkeeper Martha Walker is among the area's best.
Tampa Catholic (15-6-3) at Lake Gibson (13-6-3), 7:30 p.m.
Tampa Catholic coach Rori Rushing-Braum said his team had too many breakdowns in losing in the district final. Still, the Crusaders have Catherine MacMillian to count among its offensive weapons.
Bartow (15-5-3) at East Bay (14-3-1), 7:30 p.m.
Shawna Kramer, Anna Hernandez and Alyse Migliaro lead the Indians into the regionals with the momentum of a 10-match winning streak and a region that may be favorable for them.
St. Petersburg Catholic (15-9-2) at Berkeley Prep (20-6-2), 7 p.m.
Berkeley Prep is headed to the regionals for the third consecutive year as a district champ looking to advance past the semifinals. Melissa Aylor, Evan Pruitt and Alexie Riofrio are solid offensively for the Bucs and freshman Cally Stolbach notched a hat trick in the district semifinals.
Academy of the Holy Names (11-9-3) at Clearwater Central Catholic (20-2), 7 p.m.
The Jaguars have the tough task of taking on a Marauder team that went to the final four last year and tallied 16 goals in this year's district tournament.
