Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return

Platform: PlayStation

Price: $39.99

Company: Sony

The pink-haired cave dude is back, and he's got a sequel that rivals even the best 2-D action games in terms of originality and game play. All this and it manages to look 3-D at the same time. Grade: A+

Worms: Armageddon

Platform: PlayStation

Price: $39.99

Company: Microprose

The fact that worms got their own game is funny enough. The fact that it pits them against each other in heavily armed combat makes it classic. Choose from 60 weapons and more than 40 missions and have at it. Grade: A

Toy Story 2

Platform: PlayStation

Price: $39.99

Company: Activision

Activision comes through with more than just a name in this thoroughly playable action game. Graphics and intermissions exude the movie, plus there's a host of fun challenges and game play to satisfy all. Grade: B

Chase H.Q.

Platform: Game Boy Color

Price: $29.99

Company: 3D Metro

Chase H.Q. involves setting up patrol cars on a city map and trying to cut off criminal motorists. The game play is Atari-level at best, and players will tire quickly. At least there's a bit of strategy involved. Grade: C

Antz

Platform: Game Boy Color

Price: $29.99

Company: Infogrames The Game Boy Color version of Antz puts you in the role of Z and throws dozens of levels your way, each with its own objective. Toss pickaxes, hang from branches and climb ropes in this passable action game. Grade: C+

Mr. Nutz

Platform: Game Boy Color

Price: $29.99

Company: Infogrames Control Mr. Nutz the squirrel and his imposing weapon of a tail as he runs, leaps and tosses acorns through 30 colorful levels. It's good, clean fun for kids and a pleasant diversion for adults. Grade: B
