The University of Tampa is holding The UT MBA Association Executive Luncheon Series on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the grand salon of Plant Hall on campus. The guest speaker will be Steven Polzin. Closshey, president and chief executive officer of Crystals International Inc., has been elected to serve on the Employers Association of Florida Inc. board of directors. Closshey's term began in January and will run for three years. She is a past director of Plant State Bank and currently serves on the board of directors of the Research & Development Association for Military Packaging and the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce. The Beck Group was recently ranked No. 29 on Fortune's "Best Companies to Work For" list. The Beck Group has been in business for more than 85 years. The company recently earned the Builder of the Year award from the American Institute of Architects. Kevin M. Gilhool has become a shareholder with the law firm of Bavol Bush & Sisco, P.A. Gilhool practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation and products liability. He joined the firm as an associate attorney in 1997. David A. Gemunder, an attorney with the law firm of Fowler, White, Gillen, Boggs, Villareal and Banker, P.A., has been selected as a Fellow of the Section of Business Law of the American Bar Association. The appointment is for two years. Gemunder is a member of the firm's Corporate, Securities and Finance Group. His practice focuses on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate law.
