College entrance exams available to students throughout the spring

Those wanting to take or retake their college entrance exams should note the following dates and deadlines:

Test dates for the SAT:

March 31 -- SAT I

Registration deadline: Feb. 23

Late: March 7

May 5, 2001 -- SAT I and SAT II

Registration deadline: March 29

Late: April 13

June 2 -- SAT I and SAT II

Registration deadline: April 27

Late: May 9

Mailed registrations must be postmarked by deadline date. For information or to register online: www.collegeboard.org.

Test dates for the ACT:

April 7

Registration: March 2

Late: March 16

June 9

Registration deadline: May 4

Late: May 18
