TROY ST. 74, UCF 69: The visiting Trojans shot 59.1 percent in the second half. UCF's Kevin Lee hit a three-pointer to cut Troy State's lead to 67-66 with 3:15 remaining. The Golden Knights missed five shots in the final 27.2 seconds. UCF, which shot 34.8 percent in the second half, was led by Paul Reed with 21 points.

MERCER 70, FAU 69: Scott Emerson made a jump shot as time expired. The host Owls had taken the lead on Nick Neumann's 17-foot jumper.

JACKSONVILLE 74, SAMFORD 51: Guards Shawn Platts and Kevin Sheppard each scored 19 for the host Dolphins, who have won seven of eight. Chris Weaver led Samford with 14 points.
