Alzheimer's caregiver support group meets

The Tampa Jewish Family Services will have its next support group for persons who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. The Family Services is at the Jewish Community Center/Federation Campus, 13009 Community Campus Drive. Call (813) 960-1848.

Blood drive at Hanna Oaks on Monday

The Florida Blood Services will hold a blood drive from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at Hanna Oaks assisted living community, 2425 E Hanna Ave. Donors will receive a free T-shirt, food and door prizes. Call (813) 238-3053.

Florida Poodle Rescue plans evening of fun

The Florida Poodle Rescue is presenting an evening filled with tea, hors d'oeuvres, scones and romantic music. There will be a silent auction with raffle prizes. The event is from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and will be held at the Rosemary Cottage Tearoom, 4006 S MacDill Ave. Tickets are $35. This non-profit organization helps place rescued dogs in foster homes. Call (813) 831-6179.

Sweetheart dance at Community Hall

A sweetheart dance will be from 7 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday at the Community Hall, 1910 Pebble Beach South. Music is by the Sun City Center Big Band. Tickets are $8 per person at the S.C.C. Community office. Call (813) 633-3500.
