Classes offered for parents of infantsBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published February 11, 2001 The Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library System offers free classes at branch libraries to teach parents how to read books to their infants, ages newborn to 21/2 years old. The classes will show parents books, stories, songs and finger games. Libraries that will host these workshops are: Lutz, 101 Lutz Lake Fern Road, 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; Austin Davis, 17808 Wayne Road in Odessa, 10 a.m. Thursday; Jimmie B. Keel, 2902 W. Bears Ave., 10 a.m. Mondays: March 19 and 26, and April 2 and 9; Temple Terrace, 202 Bullard Parkway, 10:30 a.m. Mondays: April 23 and 30, and May 7 and 14; West Gate Regional, 7606 Paula Drive, 10 a.m. Wednesdays: April 25, and May 2, 9 and 16; North Tampa, 8916 N.
