On Feb. 20, Chick-Fil-A at 6299 W Waters Ave. will donate 10 percent of all sales made from 5 to 8 p.m. to the school.

GAITHER HIGH: The PTSA will present the 16th annual Star Revue Talent Show at 7 p.m. Friday in the school's auditorium, 16200 N Dale Mabry Highway. Tickets will be available for $5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 12 through Feb. 15 at the school. Tickets are $6 the night of the performance. HUNTERS GREEN ELEMENTARY: Students will participate in the school's walk-a-thon from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday. Proceeds will help fund the computer specialist position.

NORTHWEST ELEMENTARY: The Northwest PTA will hold a silent auction from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 24 at Avila Golf and Country Club, 943 Guisando De Avila. Tickets are on sale now for $13 apiece. Proceeds will help purchase new playground equipment for the school. The Fashion Distributive Education Club of America Chapter will present its third annual spring fashion show, United Styles of America, at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the school's auditorium. The show will feature fashions from retailers at Citrus Park Town Center and Citrus Park Plaza. Admission is $3 in advance, $5 at the door. TAMPA PALMS ELEMENTARY: The PTA will present its annual Tampa Palms Elementary Auction Night at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Tampa Palms Country Club, 5811 Tampa Palms Blvd. This year's theme is "Good Sports for Education." DISCOUNTED FAIR TICKETS AVAILABLE: The Hillsborough County Council of the PTA-PTSA is selling discounted tickets to the Florida State Fair. Admission tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children. Ride tickets are $16 for 40 coupons. Armbands for unlimited rides for Sunday and Feb. 18-19 are $16. Family packages are also available and include four admission tickets and 80 ride coupons for $40. Discounted tickets can be purchased at the Florida Fairgrounds box office until Feb. 7. Proceeds will benefit the council's mini-grant and scholarship programs. For information, call (813) 627-0212.

STORYTELLING FESTIVAL: The 21st annual Tampa-Hillsborough County Storytelling Festival will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 21 at Hillsborough High School, 5000 Central Ave. The free event will include youth and adult storytellers, a storybook character parade, book fair, puppet shows and workshops. Students from kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to participate in the festival and become a youth storyteller. Registration deadline is March 5.
