Dr. Brian O'Sullivan and his staff have relocated their offices to just south of the Northcliffe Boulevard traffic light on Mariner and Portillo.

There are two entrances to the new office; one on Portillo and one on Mariner. O'Sullivan specializes in general dentistry, dentures and restoration of implants, crowns, bridges and partials. The new number is 666-9898.

Robert Hartzell, a Spring Hill family physician, has completed continuing medical education to retain active membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians, which is the national association of family doctors.

The academy requires its 89,400 members to complete a minimum of 150 hours of accredited continuing medical study every three years.

Joseph Solomon has joined the Spring Hill office of Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant at 5317 Spring Hill Drive. A Brooksville native, Solomon has been working in financial services for the past three years. He received a master's degree from the University of South Florida. He recently transferred from the Crystal River office.

Mike Austin, originally from Brooksville, recently joined the sales force at Prudential Pro Realty.

Austin graduated from Hernando High School in 1970 and ran track for the University of Florida before he transferred to Brown University in Providence, R.I. He received his law degree from Washburn School of Law in Topeka, Kan., in 1992. He practiced law for eight years in Montana.


Dr. Daniel H. Bender of the Spine and Pain Medicine Center will present a free seminar on spinal stenosis, a disorder often characterized by chronic back and leg pain.

The seminar will be at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 23 at the Best Western Weeki Wachee Resort, 6172 Commercial Way, Weeki Wachee. Bender is a board-certified specialist in the comprehensive evaluation and non-surgical treatment of patients suffering from acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders.

Bender's specialty, known as physiatry, focuses on physical medicine and rehabilitation. Physiatry treats problems as minor as sprained muscles or as major as spinal cord injuries. For reservations, call (727) 861-2277.

Service Corps of Retired Executives is holding a three-hour seminar on small business start-ups from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. The group is also holding a three-hour seminar on obtaining bank financing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
