HOW THEY ADVANCED: Rockledge defeated Daytona-Seabreeze 5-1 and Hudson defeated Citrus 3-0 in the regional quarterfinals.
THE SKINNY: Rockledge is a veteran in the regional tournament with six appearances in the last seven years. Hudson last made it to the regional semifinals in 1999 when it lost to New Smyrna Beach. Hudson is a dangerous scoring threat with Billy Boyko, Jarle Thy and Robert Pollock scoring more than 20 goals apiece. Rockledge's offense is a little less potent with its top three scorers, Zsan Robinson, Peter Kaus and Matt Myers, combining for 43 goals. Hudson keeper Robby Mahler has 11 shutouts and a 1.00 goals-against average while Rockledge's Kyle Oakhill has six shutouts and a 1.20 goals-against average.
