CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS: The Citrus Christian Home Educators Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Providence Baptist Church in Lecanto. This meeting will cover end-of-the-year evaluations and the work involved getting ready for them. Guest speakers include Mike Ballard and Sherri Wunderly, who will discuss the FPEA Guide to Homeschooling. For information, call Angie Rushton at 527-0998 or Steve Hasel at 860-7308.

ENTERTAINMENT AND RESTAURANT BOOK SAMPLER AVAILBLE: The 17th annual Suncoast Entertainment and Restaurant Book Sampler is now available. They sell for $29.95 and can be purchased from a Crystal River High School Band member. You may also order a book by calling Susan Carney at 794-0125 or Sally deMontfort at 795-9693. Proceeds benefit the CRHS Band program.

SCHOLARSHIP DINNER AND ENTERTAINMENT: The Citrus County Art League will present "Dinner With Napoleon" beginning with wine and hors d'oeuvres at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Art League Cultural Center. A slide presentation about the life and loves of Napoleon will be shown at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be foods from Napoleon's time, including Chicken Marengo. Art League members will dress as Napoleon and his contemporaries and entertain. Tickets are $25 and are limited. Deadline for ticket purchase is Monday . ADVISORY ENHANCEMENT COUNCIL MEETING: The Citrus Springs Middle School Advisory Enhancement Council will meet at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 27 in the media center. For information, call 344-2244 or 489-6622.

BLACK BEAR WORKSHOP AVAILABLE FOR TEACHERS: Sherre Dabanian, St. John's Water Management District education coordinator and Marcie Clutter, Citrus County science teacher and education volunteer, Habitat for Bears, will present a workshop of the Florida Black Bear Curriculum from 9 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. March 3, in the Magnolia Room at Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park. CFCC CLASS OFFERINGS: Central Florida Community College will offer the following non-credit courses at the Citrus Campus: n Genealogy on the Web, 3 to 7 p.m. Friday . Course fee is $35.

Creating Your Web Page, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday . The fee is $35.

Introduction to Flight, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday . The fee is $75.

Digital Photography (no camera required), 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday 1. The fee is $45.

Small business and Record Keeping, 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. The fee is $35.

Introductions to Windows, 6 to 9 p.m., Monday through March 19. The fee is $35.

Yoga for All, 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday through March 21. The fee is $30 and participants should bring a towel and wear comfortable clothes.

STUDENT SEMINAR OFFERED: The Central Citrus Rotary Club is offering the annual Citrus County Leadership Seminar to Citrus County high school students from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 3 in the Lecanto Middle School cafeteria. Applications are available at the high school guidance offices. Admission is free and breakfast, lunch and beverages will be served. The object of the seminar is for each student to understand what is involved in being a leader and how to find the self-motivation to become a leader.
