Ex-wife held in scheme

CLEARWATER -- Police say they arrested a woman Wednesday who paid an undercover police officer $500 to kill her ex-husband.
Christina Lue Decker, 35, of 2918 Drew St., No. 217, was arrested just after midnight on a charge of solicitation to commit murder, arrest reports state. Police began investigating Decker in December, said Wayne Shelor, police spokesman. The pair apparently were in a custody battle, he said. Decker was booked into Pinellas County Jail on $10,000 bail.
