Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run on Dale Mabry

TAMPA -- A car struck and killed a bicyclist Thursday night on S Dale Mabry Highway and then sped away, Tampa police said.
Police were looking for a small white car with front-end damage, and had several leads late Thursday. They said the car hit a bicyclist around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Dale Mabry, just south of Gandy Boulevard.
The injured man was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he later died. His name was not released.
