DANCE: UT hosts a Spring Dance Concert at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, in the David Falk Theatre. A matinee performance will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The concert features jazz, modern, ballet, and tap. The concert features choreography and performances by UT students and faculty, as well as guest artists. Free. Call (813) 253-3333, ext. 3745.

ART: UT hosts a chat and viewing of completed monotypes with artist Ed Paschke at 7 p.m. today in UT's Studio-F. Paschke has been a painting professor at Northwestern University for the past 20 years. Call (813) 253-6217.

USF's Centre Gallery presents an exhibition of photographs by Michelle Jammes from Mondaythrough March 9. A reception will be held for the artist Feb. 23. Jammes is a recent USF graduate. Call (813) 974-5464.

THEATER: USF's BRIT program guest artist, Philip Wilson, adapts and directs William Shakespeare's As You Like It at 8 p.m., today and Saturday in Theatre 1 on campus, Sunday at 3 p.m. in Theatre 1 on campus, Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at Blake High School in Tampa, and Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at Dixie Hollins High School in St. Petersburg. The story is a witty, romantic comedy about a group of travelers who journey from the violent, sophisticated, urban world of the court to the peaceful idyll of the "Forest of Arden." Wilson is a former Assistant Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company and Performance Consultant for the 1999 Academy award winning film, Shakespeare In Love. UT presents live theater "Upstairs/Downstairs at the Tampa Bay Hotel." The single character performance of Arthur Schleman-Hunting Guide at the Tampa Bay Hotel 1895, played by John Snell, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in The Henry B. Plant Museum. EVENTS: UT hosts the Antique Appraisal Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday in the Plant Hall grand salon.

UT is hosting the Admissions Campus Visit Day on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Plant Hall lobby. Faculty members will be on hand for high school seniors and transfer students. Members of UT's financial aid staff will conduct a session on financial aid and how to apply for academic and need-based scholarships. Call (813) 253-6211.

MUSIC: USF's School of Music presents a faculty recital at 8 p.m. on Monday in the music recital hall (FAH 101). The recital will feature Jay Hunsberger on the tuba. $6 general admission, $4 students and seniors. Call (813) 974-2323.

UT presents a free solo guest artist piano recital with Marc Taslit at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Plant Hall grand salon. He has piano performance degrees from Indiana University, where he later was director of piano accompanying, and the Cleveland Institute of Music. At the recital, Taslit will perform works by Mozart, J.S. Bach, Schubert, Chopin and Liszt, as well as an original arrangement of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. Call (813) 253-6212.
