BROOKSVILLE -- Brett Teitelman's early season with Hernando will be spent like many of his counterparts in the county: developing a young team.

Hernando should be competitive high in its order, with junior All-Gulf Coast Athletic Conference selection Andrew Sufficool returning.

Behind him will be sophomore Eric Frischette, and the team's only seeded senior: Joshua Vasquez.

Sufficool and Frischette will play as the No. 1 doubles team.

The Leopards get much younger thereafter, with freshmen Daniel Crespo and Brent Lowman filling out the fourth and fifth singles slots.

Freshmen Drew Taylor and Michael Ehlenbeck will comprise the second doubles team.

"We should be very competitive at No. 1 in singles and doubles with Sufficool," Teitelman said.

"With our youth, we could lose as many as we win early, but I think eventually we will be one of the better teams around," he said.
