    CIRCUS ACTS: The Sailor Circus, a four-ring production known as the Greatest Little Show on Earth will be at 3 p.m. at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. $8 ($6 for center members or students). Call (727) 942-5605.

    SHOW AND SALE: Consignment boutique Denise's Pieces will let the good times roll at a show and sale with a Mardi Gras theme. The event at Clearwater's Harborview Center will benefit the American Diabetes Association, and will feature shopping (2 p.m.) and a fashion show (3 p.m.).     SUNSETS AT PIER 60: Celebrate the end of the day with a daily festival of arts, crafts and entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pier 60 Pavilion, Clearwater Beach. Josh and the Older Generation (rock) will take the stage. Free.

    WRITING CONTEST: Tuesday is the deadline for entering your short stories (1,000 or fewer words), poems (one page only) and essays (500 or fewer words) to the annual Arts and Letters contest sponsored by the Clearwater branch of the National League of American Penwomen.
